Can I tag things across different lists?

Yes, and this is what lists alone cannot do. A tag gathers things that live in different lists — everything for one person, one trip, one project.

1. Open an item and add a tag to it.
2. Use the Tags tab to see everything carrying that tag, wherever it lives.

You can also filter a search by tag, which is how you find the gift idea you had in March.
