How do I back up my jots?

Nothing is backed up until you ask for it. That is deliberate — the app should not start copying your jots somewhere before you have said so.

When you want it, open Settings and choose one or more of:

• iCloud Backup — a copy in your own iCloud account, kept current automatically.
• Dropbox — connect the account once, and it uploads from then on.
• Google Drive — the same.
• Export Backup — a single file you can put wherever you like.

A backup contains everything: your lists, your folders and what is in them, your items, tags, due dates and repeats, and the order you have arranged it all in.
